Agrofirm (AF) "Myskhako", founded in 1869, is located on the Black Sea's Tsemess Bay coast, in the foothills of
Koldun Mountain. "Myskhako" is located in a microzone that is ideal for quality viticulture. It is characterized
by an exceptional combination of physical and chemical soil composition, favorable climate, an abundant supply of water,
fertile soil, original landscape, ample light and warmth year-around.
Today the winery owns over 650 hectares of vinyards. Cooperation with foreign advisors on viticulture, including prominent
winemaker John Worontschuk, have helped to bring up the quality of production to that of European wines.
Since 2005, "Myskhako" has hosted the annual Festival of New Wine. The winery has a tasting hall that is open daily,
and tourists have the opportunity to visit the champagne cellar, which used to be a command post of Leonid Brezhnev
during World War II.
