Krasnaya Polyana is located 60 km (37 mi) from the center of Sochi by road and 40 km (25 mi) from the Sochi-Adler International
Airport. The settlement will be home to the Alpine Ski events at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
High-speed rail service is being constructed to connect Krasnaya Polyana to the International Airport, Adler Train Station,
and Sochi Train Station. When completed, travel time between Krasnaya Polyana and Sochi-Adler International Airport will be
30 minutes.
